Robert’s Pick: Long ago, Naughty Dog lived up to their moniker, dropping stinking piles like Rings of Power and Way of the Warrior. Then, something mysterious and miraculous happened, with the Santa Monica-based studio reversing their unruly behavior and releasing an uninterrupted procession of blue-ribbon, must play, titles. From Crash Bandicoot, Jak and Daxter, Uncharted, and The Last of Us the developer has been fundamental in helping three generations of PlayStations achieve success. This week, the release of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is destined to do the same for the PS4. Highlighted by top-tier gameplay, cornea-coddling visuals, and banter that ranks as some of the medium’s best, Thief’s End seems like a fitting send-off for Drake and Sully.

  1. Have to pick up MegaTagmension Blanc + Neptune VS Zombies. Will you review it, Deagle?

  2. Uncharted over Nep Nep? WTF is wrong with you, Robert? 😉

  3. Raiden V seems like a nice surprise this week. Xbone owners don’t get shmups very often.

  4. Anyone think its the end for Scully in this Uncharted?

    • If I were a betting man, I’d put my money on Elena biting the bullet. They need Scully to play off Drake.

  5. A Thief’s End for me this week.

  6. I’m ready to have Uncharted 4 make my launch PS4 sound like a jet engine.

    • I’ve been reading some of the U4 reviews and it sounds like I may full (nearly) full-price for the game, which is rare. Thank god for Prime 20% off discount.
