New Releases 5/24-5/30: Virtual Voyager Edition

With settings as diverse as the cyberpunk wild West, the Siberian Coast, and a nihilistic urban city this week’s new releases have us trekking across the digital globe. For those that prefer actual excursions, there’s Personal Trainer: Walking, a title that motivates players into walking 3000 steps a day- the exact distance to our local retailer. Could this be mere coincidence?

DesertEagle’s Pick: Some are calling inFAMOUS, ‘Crackdown with electricity’, due to its open-world, clean up the city gameplay. With it’s visceral combat and Sucker Punch pedigree, the game looks to be a required addition to any PS3 owners library. The RPG geek in me is thrilled both Cross Edge and Crimson Gem Saga are out this week. Contentment +2, Productivity -5.

TideGear’s Pick: This week’s pick is pretty easy for me, The Munchables! It’s from Namco Bandai and looks like a combination of Pac-Man and a Katamari game with a bit of Super Mario Galaxy. Yes, please!
