New Releases 5/11-5/17: Wii Without the “I” Edition

Strangeness permeates this week’s new release schedule- from a Wii game designed for an yet unreleased peripheral (next week’s Wii Fit) spelled without the ‘double-I’ moniker to DS game based on a twelve-year old PC title. With Prince Caspian hitting no less than five systems- we predict a substantial paycheck for Lewis’ stepson.

Xbox 360

PS2
The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

Pick of the Week: While hardcore shmup fans may be interested in Shikigami III, we encourage them to hold onto their monies until next week’s Blast Works: Build, Trade and Destroy is released. The title lets Wii owners build their own shooters, altering everything from the shape of their ship to enemy shot patterns.

Robert Allen

Since being a toddler, Robert Allen has been immersed in video games, anime, and tokusatsu. Currently, his days are spent teaching at two southern California colleges. But his evenings and weekends are filled with STGs, RPGs, and action titles and well at writing for Tech-Gaming since 2007.

  1. I predict a 62% score for Prince Caspian, who want to take the up or down line?

  2. I’ll take the down line, SVC.

I might eventually pick up Deca Sports when it drops. Looks like a cheap WiiSports clone.
