Where have all our heroes gone? After looking over this week’s new releases, our protagonists range from M&M’s, marbles, chickens, English teachers, pets, board game pieces, and wedding coordinators. We long for the days when game characters settling things with three-round bursts or confusion spells. Thank goodness for Chris Redfield, Vayne Aurelius, and American surfer turned ninja, Galford D. Weller.

DesertEagle’s Pick: With a track record as strong as GUST’s, RPG fans will find hours of enjoyment in Mana Khemia: Student Alliance. Gamers who either don’t own a PSP, or fail to reap enjoyment from RPG’s, will likely find solace in the mass elimination of the Undead. The Resident Evil 5 demo left me a bit cold, but I am optimistic that the final retail version fixed any niggling issues.
TideGear’s Pick: There’s a lot of potentially great non-mainstream releases this week. The DS and Wii are finally showing us more love. If only that would keep up. Just like Street Fighter IV, although Resident Evil 5 does interest me, I’m not a huge fan. It’s hard to pick but I have to say I’m looking forward to trying New Play Control! Pikmin with hopefully more intuitive controls.
Is Samurai SHOWDOWN spelled right?
RE5 for me!
Alright DE- Mana Khemia: Student Alliance it is.
There’s a few good game, but nothing that makes me want to run out to Gamestop. I also didn’t really like the RE5 demo. Inventory management in the middle of the zombie takeover really sucks.
Sho’ nuff. Yes, its always been “Shodown”
Marble Saga: Kororinpa if I can get it on the cheap.
Mana Khemia, isn’t it made by Nippon Ichi, Mr. Eagle?
M&M have their own game and Reeces Pieces don’t. WTF?
I never miss a Resident Evil, even the bad PS2 ones (Oubreak).
My pick is like the newspaper- Black and White and red all over.
How many games of the Samurai Shodown disk?
New Play Control Mario Power Tennis and Pikmin.
Does anyone know if Pikmin has been tweaked in any way besides adding Wiimote control?
Shouldn’t trivial pursuit be a DLC title? It’s not like you need a next-generation console to play it.
According to the game’s website, GUST in the developer.
BTW it’s got some cool wallpapers in the DOWNLOADS section.

I think the real question is whether this title is CHEAPER than the actual Trivial Pursuit board game?
I don’t understand why people pay $30 to play Monopoly on a console, when the actual game is about $10. I guess on-line functionality would be the only reason for the price difference.
Are there any NIS titles you don’t like?
SS for the PSP if there is decent netplay. I doubt it.
What are Hispanoparlantes???
RE5
Mana k for I.
I might pick up Madworld down the road, but not right away.
Marble Saga: Kororinpa. We really enjoyed the first one.
New Play Control! Mario Power Tennis as everyone here loves wii tennis.
RE5 PS3 version.
No Samurai Shodown Anthology for Wii? I thought it was coming out for Wii..
Pikmin could me mine.
Which DS and Wii releases, TideGear?
What will you guys be reviewing?
Damn I wish I had the money to pick up RE5 and Mad World
