DesertEagle’s Pick: Certainly, actions fans can’t go wrong with wrong with the mindless action of either Gears or War or Resistance 2. Call me, crazy, but I had to pick just one of those two games, I’d go with Resistance. One title I’m eagerly awaiting is Valkyria Chronicles, which is a turn-based strategy RPG, without the tiresome grid. Color me intrigued.
TideGear’s Pick: The onslaught has begun! EndWar, Valkyria Chronicle, Exit DS, Little Red Riding Hood’s Zombie BBQ are all on my list this week. Not on my list this week… sleep.

It offers a great shootout mechanic that’s literally done to death during the course of the game. Take cover, fire, move, and so on so on….

Valkyria Chronicles demo was all kinds of cool, but a bit short. I’m interested in the full game.
Funny, I never saw the fuss over Resistance. I watched a friend play levels where you had to go in these alien structure to open gates. It looked highly repetitive. You do the same thing like 4 times.
Never heard of Legendary.

Gears 2 is one of the best games I’ve ever played! Horde is so much fun. I’m waiting on that Rock Band AC/DC track pack to come down in price before I purchase that.
