New Releases 10/5 – 10/11: High Concept Edition

When even the software-starved PSP gets three new titles, you know we have officially entered the season of gaming. This week features a number of games with great concepts, but less than ideal executions. Take Fracture, which introduces a interesting mechanic where players can raise of lower the height of the battlefield. While it’s a novel technique, the execution of the shooting leaves much to be desired. Line Rider 2 makes an interesting toy, but sadly, as a game if feels unfinished. Then there’s the oddly named, Prey the Stars. Just don’t believe any of the Katamari comparisons.
