In a perfect world Danny Zuko would be an unlockable character in Mafia 2. Since Paramount Pictures probably doesn’t want its “Greased Lightning”-crooning characters mixed up in Vito Scaletta’s underworld, these two realms will likely only intersect on this week’s new release list. Perhaps there more of a chance of Scott Piligrim making a pugilistic cameo on The Bachelor. A reality show which mixes romance with a healthy dose of competitive ass-kicking sounds like the sleeper hit of the fall.

DesertEagle’s Pick: Shank is the closest I’ll may get to an interactive version of Machete. Mixing platforming, brawling with a gratifying amount of plasma, the title looks to captivate me with it’s old school charms. With all these great retro-inspired games, it might be time to finally unhook the old SNES from the TV.
