When reviewing the H6PROs, we noted how headset increased the sense of immersiveness in modern titles like Returnal, Resident Evil Village, and Deathloop. But the real surprise was how remarkable the 42mm drivers made retro games sound. From rocking anthems in the PC Engine CD classic, Gate of Thunder to the organ-style opening melody in the intro to Donkey Kong, the headset brought out nuances in some of our favorite older titles.
Nine months after the original review, I continue to use the H6PROs on a daily basis. Sporadically, I’ll perceive some detail that went into the sound design of a game that I haven’t noticed before. Sure, this doesn’t happen daily, but the feeling occurs often enough for the EPOS to be my favorite brand on the market.

Jedi Fallen Order had some of the best sound design I’ve ever heard. So I’ll definitely be playing that and Jedi Survive when that comes out!
