  1. You’re freakin’ kidding a new podcast? What took so long?!?

  2. You’re freakin’ kidding a new podcast? What took so long?!?

  3. So is BlueSwim losing his podcasting virginity on-air? Hoohoo!

  4. Not up on itunes yet for me. Hmmm…

Thanks for putting the music selection and links! You’ve finally listened!

  5. afigureofnaught

Sound level is a little low this week.

    • Sorry, with Sean sitting out for a bit, I’ll be cobbling the show together. Please send me any feedback on the show’s audio or content quality. I promise to listen.

  6. You talk about Sam Fisher and James Bond too much.

From what I heard BlueSwim is a good addition. Not bad the first time out, but he stutters a bit probably because he’s excited.

  7. Even Deagle is wondering where Adam is now?

    • That wasn’t me, just someone using my good name!

Adam couldn’t quite make this show. My best guess is that he was playing Galaga Legions DX.

  8. Great show so far. I like Blue and I hope you keep him around. I liked his Zelda: OoT impressions.

  9. Ok, I jumped ahead (and you guys sound much more lively doing mailbag then ‘What you’ve been playing’) Did you record at two differnt times.

  10. Megabomb: SeanNOLA’s leaving for a month. Shitfuckshitbumdickwhores.

  11. Ok, swamp out Sage for TiudeGear and you’ll have yourselves a perfect show.

  12. A thumbs up for Blue and a we’ll miss you to NOLA.

Don’t lose your grumpiness or I’ll hate you FOREVER.

  13. Is there an RSS feed just for the podcast for those listening on a Zune?

  14. Did Deagle just say “Dynasty WARS”? WTF is that?

  15. BlueSwim, I’m BlueSlime and I approve of your performance. Just don’t be so nervous!

And if you need to relax, just BEAT IT!

    • XD You know that video of the guy moon walking with a shopping cart in a store? I did my version of it a few days ago. It’s hard to moon walk with a shopping cart while dramatically holding on to your fedora with one hand! ROFL!

  16. I tried to get a gravitar, but my username is taken 🙁

  17. Great show this week, people. Loved the PvZ song and the ending song.

  18. I’m only a little bit jealous that I didn’t get picked for the podcast.

  19. Good show. Cone back soon Nola.

  20. Good show. Come back soon Nola.

  21. Good interview, Deagle! As an art student, I liked your talk.

  22. itunes is playing 7-6 podcast as 7-7..

    • Noticed the same thing, had to download the show

      • I don’t quite know what happened, but we performed a reset, and the 7-7 proper is playing on iTunes now.

        Thanks for the tip!

  23. The show won’t be the same without NOLA’s snark 🙁

  24. Great show, except for the whole iTunes thing.

  25. LA Noire talk was funny. I liked Blues yelling.

  26. Great show this week. Keep the coming regularly please!!!

  27. We’ll miss you NOLA!!!

  28. Trivia was a little different this week. Can’t say I didn’t like the change.

  29. solid show all around. Production was solid except for some mic pop. Good work Deagle.

BTW- what was Sean confused about?

    • If it was my mic, I apologize. I’m using my Rock Band mic, ATM.

Sean and I both got IM’s on Skype from Deagle saying he was calling just as when we started recording.

  30. Chocked on my Subway when I heard ” that’s alot of come”

Is it just coincidence that Deagle and Garnett are both immature thus week?

  31. Ok, Disney talk got me thinking…

    1. Is Sam Fis(c)her supposed to me Jewish?

    2. And one more thing we talked about recently in my Jewish Studies course. Is Hollywood and (gaming) gradually changing the way the younger generation thinks of the Holocaust? Games where people are Nazi killers and movies like Inglorious Basterds are offering fictitious versions of history, is the true story of our people in jeopardy?

    • I’ve never thought of Sam as Jewish. Why do you think he would be?
Also–No, I don’t think games like Metal Slug or movies like Inglorious Bastards are harming history. For one, it’s not like they glorify the Nazis; they’re still the bad guys. For two, part of being alive is recognizing the difference between fictional stories and accepted historical accounts (remember, history is also a story or accounting from a particular point of view. Which is not at all to say that the holocaust didn’t happen, but historical accountings are one side’s story nonetheless). There are plenty of historical moments–Pearl Harbor, terrorist attacks, Iraq war, etc, that are made into a dramatic and fantasticical story in the movies/games, that don’t represent the “true” history. Happens all the time, not just with the holocaust. And people are meant to learn the difference between a movie/game, and the real world. Such are my thoughts. Cheers.

    • I think he’s saying Fischer is a common Jewish name, so maybe Fisher is just a slight respelling. I could be wrong.

    • some say the problem is that people will see these versions of history and ask, “Well, why didn’t the Jews fight back”.

See these things tend to omit the fact that Nazis would kill 10 for every Jew that found back, and that they’d play gentle music as people arrived at the concentration camps, just so there wouldn’t be any rioting.

    • Well, in my opinion (and this is a really weird thread for a gaming site), this guy is completely off the mark. It seems like he’s a person who decided to let his personal background make him prejudiced and biased against something he doesn’t understand. The movie is, for one, a remake, and for two, an homage to the previous film and the films of those times. I don’t really want to go into an all point accounting of why all of his points seem like overly sensitive responses to some imaged slights, but I don’t agree with his opinion at all. And i don’t think such movies, or games, mislead people as to history if they are enjoyed by people who have an understanding of both the history of real events and the history of the envisioning of a piece of art.

      • Well said, Sage.

Actually, I really enjoy these OT discussion more than the “Great review/awful review” type of stuff.

  33. This thread took a turn for the weird. I saw even CheapyD looks like he’s been following this discussion.

  34. Thank you so much . The add-on is so cool.
