  1. I’m not a fan of the monthly podcasting schedule, but what can I do?

    • Nagtweet @Tech_Gaming

    • I know podcasting (both talking and editing) is a lot of work. The best make it look easy, but beleive me it isn’t.

I’d love to help out, either by being on the show (I play almost every Japanese game that comes out) or even putting it together.

  2. I wonder who could be looking for a Shine Maiden? Got to be one of the anime-twins, Desert or Blue.

  3. I have an idea for the next show, have everyone name their ultimate waifus. I just want to hear Jeremy squirm.

  4. Downloading now. Nice quick speed. I remember when I’d get 3KB/S from the podcast download just a year or two ago.

  5. Some good 2014 picks.

I’d add Infamous Second Son, which seems to be forgotten since it came out a few months ago.

  6. Listening now.

Is this the JRPG sequel to Where’s my Water?

  7. Where trivia? No interviews anymore? You guys are making me sad.

  8. I’m pretty sure Jeremy was 80% of the podcast. Very little Blue this week. 🙁

  9. Good show. I liked hearing your GOTYs.

  10. Sounds like I have to try The Stanley Parable and Action Henk.

  11. You forgot Gauntlet III: The Final Quest (Amiga, C64) and Gauntlet: The Third Encounter (Lynx).

    • I don’t know I’d they mentioned Gauntlet Legends either. That got a lot of play with my 3 siblings.

    • Confirmed, those are some Gauntlet games I never played! Were they any good?

We did talk about Gauntlet Legends, and it was a big N64 hit at my house among my siblings too. 😀

      • You talked about the best Gauntlet games.

        • Haha, I’m surprised that anyone looks favorably on Seven Sorrows. I seem to remember it received pretty tepidly by all. I remember the plot seemed weird, but generally it was fun to play! Like a “next-gen” (at the time) Legends.

  12. Where’s my Shine Maiden; the Bayonetta 2 discussion? 🙁

Anyways, to briefly recap what got cut out, I bought a Wii U over Black Friday and got Bayonetta 2 for Christmas. As some of you may know, the game starts out with a battle against angels atop a fighter jet flying around a city, followed by a fight on a train crossing a falling bridge, and then concludes with a boss fight against an out-of-control dragon that’s climbing up the side of a skyscraper. The kicker being that that was only the prologue, not the actual first chapter of the game. My reaction was “THAT WAS JUST THE F***ING PROLOGUE!?” The opening sequence was so off-the-wall crazy that, within the first 30 minutes, Bayonetta 2 had already satisfied my expectations, leaving me with the feeling that the actual main part of the game was “icing on the cake”. I can’t think of any other game that has made me feel that way.

Long story short, Bayonetta 2 is, from my experience, worth picking up a Wii U for.

    • How many gratuitous crotch shots were there in the first 30 minutes?

More than 10 and I’m buying this after work.

      • Then I guess you’re buying it on your way home from work. While I didn’t count the number of crotch shots, the fact that Bayonetta is fully nude in the opening moments of the game should more than cover it. LOL!

In all seriousness, the sexuality of Bayonetta 2 is hilariously over-the-top. I wouldn’t doubt some people might get offended at it, but it’s pretty obviously hyper-exaggerated for comical purposes.

  13. How come you guys don’t Twitch?

    • That’s a pretty good question, visionary. I have been known to from time to time on my own, but it’s usually at weird hours and games people probably wouldn’t be super interested in.

I’ve sometimes daydreamed about playing through Flower and talking about the things I think make it really smart, and everyone would show up and we’d all be smart and cool together!

      • I’ll be honest. I’d rather play a game that watch someone else play it and try to talk about at the same time. You couldn’t pay me to watch PewDiePie.

  14. All of LBP3 problems have been fixed. Much ado about nothing. And the dude who thinks PS All Stars is better than Smash Bros is crazy. There’s so much more content in SSB.

  15. Between Broken Age’s split and the Spacebase incident, there’s no way I would buy a Double Fine game. I know you liked BA Jeremy and are waiting for GF, but the company doesn’t respect its fans.

    • Any worse that buying The Stanley Parable?

Allegedly, the PR rep (who works for Silverstring Media, which is funded by Anita Sarkeesian) DDOSed the website of The Fine Young Capitalists. That’s the women-in-gaming site doxxed by Aerox4, a Destructoid writer, who also promoted the game.
