Podcast 7-3: Bangai-O Babies

This week DesertEagle, SeanNOLA, and TideGear cram into a Delorean, in an effort to bring our listeners the all but lost episode 7-3. Our time traveling adventure visits the remote eras of Adventures to Go, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Nin2- Jump , Minecraft, and Portal 2, culminating in an interview with Tim Ramage, the producer for Bangai-O HD: Missile Fury.

Don’t forget to send your questions for our next mailbag, and subscribe to the Tech-Gaming Podcast on iTunes. Leaving a review would be an awesome thing to do; and keep us from begging for feedback every show.

  33. Hands down one of Deagles best interviews.

  34. Thanks guys, too bad there was no Samurage.

  35. Desert is to Bangaio-o what the Giant Bombers are to Mortal Kombat.

  36. I’m surprised more podcasts don’t copy your trivia bit.

  37. I’ve stopped listening to the show they talk about the game so damn much.

TALK ABOUT SOMETHING NEW GUYS. I blame that new guy Patrick.

  38. Yep, I’m on hiatus with the show these days. Maybe it’s too much MK talk. I’ll probably come back after a while.

  39. FUNNY STORY ABOUT THAT-

Last e3, they started cracking down on badges. Even though we went through all the appropriate channels, they hassled us about how many badges we needed, what constituted as proper identification and business cards, etc. and as a result, it took me ALL GODDAMN DAY to get my badge. Suffice to say it was an ordeal.

Flash forward to the Sony Press Conference – I’m waiting in line to check in and get my wristband so I can go inside, grab some grub and get a seat. The kid in front of me in line is very excited to be there, and is chatting me up. I was thinking “Nice kid, but how the fuck did HE get a badge? I mean, he can’t be older than 15 years old! He must have one helluva fake ID!” We both check in and exchange business cards – his was from G4, and said “Patrick Klepik.” Apparently he’s older than me, too…but he looks like a 15 year old.

    Really nice guy, though.

  40. LOVED IT!!Awesome art also!!

  41. And who is Patrick Klepick?

  42. Another vote for great.

Who doesn’t love a show with Karnov in it?!?

    With MAN-GOD!

  45. Great one this week. All that’s missing is Sage.

  46. Am I the only one who doesn’t remember Joker offering up Harley to his henchmen like that in Batman: Arkham Asylum?

  47. Was he talking about the game or the cartoon?

  48. It’s toward the beginning of the game. Over the intercom he says something like “Whoever kills the bat will get a night with Harley – I might even tell her about it this time!” or something like that.

  49. Ok, it’s a bit subtle then.

  50. I heard Sage whisper the same thing about Desert during 7-2 😉

  51. LOL! I can just hear Mark Hamill as The Joker saying that. There was so much great dialog in Arkham Asylum. I’m cautiously optimistic that Arkham City will be as good as the first game.

  52. I wouldn’t say AA has contributed to destroying our childhood image of these character. As someone who watched the animated shows before growing up and actually reading comic books, I can’t help but imagine the characters with those actors’ voices. Having the Joker say that in AA isn’t nearly as bad when you consider what the character has done in the comics over the years.

  53. I’d say the old Batman films were to blame in ruining my interest in Batman. AA helped me like the character again. I guess the new movies are good, too.

  54. Artwork looks better!
