  1. A new show SIX days after the last one? Impossible, I say!

  2. If the game play is to offer hour podcasts every week instead of 3 hours shows every 3 weeks, I l can get behind it.

  3. “Access denied. Your IP address [xx.xx.xx.xx] is blacklisted. If you feel this is in error please contact your hosting providers abuse department”

Had to proxy to get to the show.

    • Oops, never mind. Work is blocking all my favorite gaming sites today. Its not just you. 🙁

  4. Jeremy, I loved your Animal Crossing: New Leaf overview. But I do agree with Robert- there was something very cool about earning classic NES games in the original one.

  5. Downloading now to get my game trivia and Indie Outlook fix.

    • Aww, that warms my dorky heart ♥ I have been stuck in Photoshop most of today so I totally missed when Robert posted this. Listening to this lovely madness right now!

      • I really like Indie Outlook but miss the giveaways. It would be nice to get “Fist Punched”…

  6. Klingonlovegrip

Wait, what is this ladies loving Jeremy thing. Does this get explained/discussion/analyzed ?

I’m guess that women like a guy who hasn’t heard of Project X Zone. haha

Robert: Grid 2 impressions. About damn time!

    • I hoped you like them. If you have specific questions, I’ll do my best to answer.

      • “When I’m alone in my room, with my Move in my hand
and in the back of my mind I think of how it all began
When I first got my PS3, it was as sweet as a dove
for the first time in my life, I think it was love
There I was, giggling about the games
that I had played on PSN and I’m not saying no names
Then the thought occurred, tear drops made my eyes burn
as I said to myself it’s the PS4, that I now yearn.”

There’s no Day of Atonement in Animal Crossing. Let’s start a internet petition and boycott all Nintendo products until they come to their senses.

(Goes back to Club LOL to listen to DJ K.K.)

  8. Hey, I got ANOTHER mention? When can I expect royalty checks? 😉

I’ve been lurking, still reading, but not commenting. Sorry.

  9. Glad to hear, Deagle’s finally tackling GRID 2. I wish you had given us a full review, though.

  10. About NOLA’s complaint that there’s too many people on the show. Varieties like Today, GMA, and The View usually have four guests at a time and multiple segments. Even Giant Bomb has what 5 guys…don’t understand the issue.

    • Yes, 4 Guys 1 Up? Weekend Confirmed? Player One Podcast? They all have 4 or more people.

    • I think the difference is that most of those people are in the same room together. There are technical problems doing it remote. And if you think it’s awkward NOW, just wait until we have to get in the same room and have to make actual creepy eye contact. eghghgh

  11. Ive never been able to get into the AC games. The lack of direct conflict is a deal breaker for me.

    • I think it’s one of those games that some people really get because of the “acquisition” component of it. It hooks some people, others not.

Oh, by the way, I found ex-Mayor Tortimer on the tropical island. I guess he retired there to host competitions.

      • Good to know he’s still alive, maybe he should post on social media more often to we know about his state of being.

      • I’m a sucker for collectathon, sorry Acquisition games. 😉

  12. “Every Advent we entered the purgatory of lutefisk, a repulsive gelatinous fishlike dish that tasted of soap and gave off an odor that would gag a goat. We did this in honor of Norwegian ancestors, much as if survivors of a famine might celebrate their deliverance by feasting on elm bark. I always felt the cold creeps as Advent approached, knowing that this dread delicacy would be put before me and I’d be told, “Just have a little.” Eating a little was like vomiting a little, just as bad as a lot.”

Pretty much my youth…..along with video games.

  13. Fist Puncher really is fun. Great beat em up.

    • It’s a lot of fun, some areas are crazy difficult tho. I’m almost about to finish, still stuck in one of the last boses and not enough time to play because of work. Damn Milkman, I tell you.

  14. Go to hell Robert is the new go home, you’re drunk.

  15. You cut the podcast in two parts like Kill Bill? Why?

  16. Was this show recording a while ago? Jeremy talked about AC like it came out a week ago.

  17. Listening now. Man Blue is rambling this week. Take notes, Son.

  18. Good show. I’m really liking Indie Outlook. Along with trivia, its my favorite part of the show.

  19. Thinking about Jeremy’s comments now that I heard about Ryan Davis. 🙁

    • So sad.

I can’t say I was a huge Giant Bomb fan but after hearing about how Ryan Davis died while on his honeymoon is beyond tragic.

Have they talked about the cause of death yet?

  20. You guys ever checked the dumpster at your local Gamestop? Check out what I found- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r1-tZ_Q_9Is

    • Wow, did you seriously find all that in a dumpster? I can’t believe they’d throw away all those games, they don’t even look damaged.

      • I never even thought to look in the GameStop dumpster. I thought it would just be cardboard boxes and paperwork.

    • Chome–was that an accident by GameStop you think? Or do they often dump stuff like that? I have to say, I’ve gone diving for furniture before, and even for food outside of Whole Foods (they put food out for people to take, in packages and everything) but I never even thought to check out GameStop.

      • I’ve heard Gamestops do that from time to time. I checked mine. There’s a lock on the dumpster.

  21. The Owl of Minerva

Great show! I’m glad you broke the show into two parts. I struggle to find time to listen to all the great podcasts (you guys, 8-4 Play, Retro Gaming Roundup, and PC Gamer UK)

  22. Is there a part III? 😉

  23. I’ll teach you to make fun of me during trivia. No Fez 2 for any of you.

    • Godzilla?

    • Phil Fish?

      Already? 🙁

    • The Podcast Dragon Balls have been gathered.

The wish to Shenron has been made.

      Get your bodies ready.

      He returns.

      • NOLA is back?

Wait, I listened to the whole episode and didn’t hear him. Or do you mean on the next show?

        • You’re just gonna have to wait and see how the next podcast recording session turns out. 😉

Speaking of, anybody have questions not related to Phil Fish?

          • ^^Oops! Forgot something. That post was from me.

          • I do!

For Deagle’s Friday Monsters review he kind of explained how he watched Japanese TV as a kid. How did the rest of you get turned into semi-Otaku?

          • Anonablue!

What game are you looking forward to this fall?

            Also:

Are you excited for any of the next-gen launch titles?

          • Do you think the average consumer will be able to tell the difference between this generation of games and the games that are on next-gen consoles.

I mean Forza 5 looks like it could be on Xbox 360 to me. At the very least the new gen looks like PC games.
