With a whopping 71 percent (17 out of 24) of this week’s new releases based on films, it might be time to pop some popcorn, and turn on the old game console. Just be sure to wash your hands before touching our controllers.
Surprisingly, these are the some of the best film franchise-based games we have seen in a while. Meanwhile, one of the games not based on a film, Ninja Gaiden 2 seems perfect for a celluloid adaption. Just make sure Uwe doesn’t direct, m-kay?

Pick of the Week: While Ninja Gaiden 2 will probably take top critical honors this week, its combination of punishingly difficult gameplay, along with framerate difficulties and a wonky camera, will make us wait for the inevitable price drop. Our money is on Lego Indiana Jones, which looks to recreate the enjoyment we had with the Lego Star Wars series.
New Releases is turning the popcorn purple?!?
Lego Indy for me!
You guys are pussies, NG isn’t that hard. If you’re having trouble put it on the easiest difficulty, ya Ninja Dogs.
Yes, I did read about the framerate problems. That sucks, they should have ironed those out before release.
I can’t belive Hot Shots Golf Open Tee 2 didn’t get the nod. I love the first game. I put no less than 30 hours into it.
No love for the Hulk? I loved the last xbox game. Improve the visuals and you got a sale from me.
The new Hulk is being made by a different developer.
I rather eat a Ugg Boot that play a Lego Game
Lego Indiana Jones. Will it have Crystal Skull levels?
Borne games looks cool. But I don’t know If I can play it for hours at a time. It might get repetitive.
Indy and Hot Shot Golf for me!
Ninja Gaiden 2 and The Bourne Conspiracy. That’s it until MGS4 for me.
