Robert’s Pick: I’ve always appreciated a number of aspects of the Uncharted franchise. Both shooting and exploration feel solid, the settings are persistently picturesque, and the motion captured interplay demonstrates some of the best technical work and writing work in the industry. Yet, as the series endured, I’ve begun to grow slightly fatigued by the trademark blend of elements, however proficient each individual component was. But that said, I’m looking forward to Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, which is poised to offer a concise playtime and banter between leads Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross. Hopefully, the loss of head writer and creative director Amy Hennig won’t be too noticeable.

About Robert Allen

Since being a toddler, Robert Allen has been immersed in video games, anime, and tokusatsu. Currently, his days are spent teaching at two southern California colleges. But his evenings and weekends are filled with STGs, RPGs, and action titles and well at writing for Tech-Gaming since 2007.

  1. I remember Magician Lord!

For it’s time it had really big sprites that caught me attention. To think all these years later, a $350 game could be had for $8. I cant wait for what the future holds

  2. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is retail? Cool! That means $32 with Prime or GCU

  3. Loli quality dropping this week. What is that?

  4. I’m curious is you’ll next extra controllers for the Switch version of Jackbox Party Pack
