With reissues of Darksiders and Star Wars Battlefront, it’s that time of year when publishers trot out previously released titles, hoping to pad the company coffers. Fortunately, the week before Black Friday still offers several new experiences, ranging from Pokémon Sun & Moon to Killing Floor 2’s console debut.

Robert’s Pick: For the better part of my life, Pokémon has been the interactive equivalent of comfort food. Yes, each new iteration of the recipe only offers a modicum of innovation, but then again gathering and training a collection of pocket monsters is a primary ingredient that never gets old. This week’s release of Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon will surely get some play time, with the incorporation of new species, Z-Moves, and a context based on Hawai’i. If the Pokémon Centers are modeled after ABC stores, I’ll know Game Freak has done their homework.

  1. I got Pokémon Sun fro9m Amazon yesterday. Let’s hope I don’t get console banned by Nintendo.

  2. Bring back Ash. The new kids look ugly. I hate the boy’s hair.

  3. Well, Star Wars Battlefront UE does include all of the content that was released so you get the 4 season pass expansions.

  4. I assume you need a Wiimote to play Wario Land: Shake It! right?

  5. I still love Pokemon as well. One question: why do some people write Hawai’i instead of just “Hawaii”?

  6. I’m about to leave work and pick up Sun. Or should I get Moon?

  7. Hasn’t Killing Floor 2 been out for a while, especially on PC?

  8. That’s like the third version of Darksiders. Gotta make that cash somehow…

  9. You had better review Pokémon S&M.

  10. I’m getting Pokémon this weekend. Probably Sun.
