E for All 2007: Wierdest Peripheral

First person shooters not realistic enough for you? Do you want to feel every round and weapon pierce your skin? Well, if you’re masochists like us, TN Games has the product for you. The $189 Amped Reality vest pounds your hide in eight different areas (four in front, four in the back), using compressed air. Designed by vascular surgeon, Dr. Mark Ombrellaro, the vest allows gamers to feel where enemy fire is hitting them. The sensation was startling at first, as the vest allowrd multiple levels power. The downside? The vest currently only works with Call of Duty 2, Inclusion,  Quake and Doom. Just don’t wear it on the street when it debuts on November 20th; local law enforcement may mistake it for Kevlar.
